You may want to add average electricity cost in the calculator. My rate is much lower than the average in the US.... 8c per kwh.

Another option is a J1772 extension cord. It could be used if you were trying use a public charger that has been ICEd

I don't find it difficult, since the button on the door handle unlocks the door. The drivers side door can unlock all 4 doors if you push it twice.

Why does nobody think you can easily retrofit DCFC?

Here should be the required parts:
DCFC Charger = 24285895 or 24286351
DCFC harness = 42555649
DCFC receptacle = 24287239

You can readily buy everything except the harness. Also, the charger is on top, so its very easy to access.
