Check out this law firm for more information; they filed a class action lawsuit against Hyundai for defective batteries from LG Energy Solutions:

Re: free charging at Electrify America

Your original post that I responded to, had your reticence to travel to Las Vegas (Clark County), Nevada; and your comparing it to Los Angeles... If your new criteria is that you will not travel anywhere where the vaccination rate is lower than your County (Santa Clara), then you are in trouble as y...

Re: RECALL

Was your impression that it would be a 'generic' letter from GM, or just a "one-off" letter to you personally that is specific to your circumstances? Thanks I seem to remember some in California saying that GM was making rather generous offers to rebuy the recalled Bolt EVs with only a mi...

Re: free charging at Electrify America

I think I'd rather do a road trip to LA, but the COVID situation also doesn't seem to be great there either. :( The COVID situation in LA County is better than the media impression, because, county-wide, we have a better vaccination rate than our surrounding counties. Yes, I am concerned about &quo...

Re: free charging at Electrify America

SparkE: I am somewhat shocked that you do not rail against VW's use of public money (based upon their diesel scandal settlement) to start their EA charging network). You could not keep yourself calm when it came to EVGo (NRG) and the State of California, as I recall. You were tossing allegations far...

Re: 2022 Bolt Owner Questions

Congratulations on your Bolt EV! I just saw my first EUV on the road yesterday! It is always good to have your Bolt EV plugged into the charger, so that it can be monitored and do reconditioning if necessary. The question is whether or not to limit the charging to 100%? And that has been the debate....

Re: Driving in L uses More Energy?

Your battery was fully charged and hence it would not activate regenerative breaking

To avoid this problem, I set my maximum charge at home to 93%

I always drive in L (sometimes use the paddle as well) and the extra regeneration gives me more capacity/miles per charge.
