Re: Charging at Electrify America

I went to an EA site in San Diego yesterday, and it failed miserably, on two levels. First, the chip readers in the pay stations don't work, but when swiping the card the card does read so eventually I figured that out. Yeah, my first try with EA was a fail. I called customer service and they recom...

Re: Phantom Power Usage?

Is it consistently one kWh every day? Or one kWh over, say, a week? The battery management system will come on from time to time, but it's strange that it happens at 60F. I think the only way to know for sure is to get torque pro and monitor what's going on.

Re: Charging At Home

Ah yes, the old flashing red light question. It means the car alarm is active. It's buried in the manual and difficult to find. Yeah, I didn't know my car had one either. By the way, I also see it when using my 240V ClipperCreek charger. https://www.chevybolt.org/threads/flashing-red-light.31405/#po...

Re: Recall software question

Others have reported that the software "update" limits charge to 95% instead of 90%. So you're not alone.

Re: Need tips on traveling from Los Angeles to SF

Get the Plugshare app for your phone. Make sure you have the filters set correctly and read the most recent comments, especially about reliability. The Bolt uses J1772 (level 2 charge, like your home and work), and CCS (for DC Fast Charging). The DCFC charging was an option, I assume your car has it...

Re: RECALL

MyChevy App does not list this recall on my 2019 VIN: 1G1FZ6S01K4128445 Can I rely on this to not go to the Dealer? I assume if your car isn't on the list, it won't be in your dealer's system either. If that's the case, taking it to the dealer won't help. But, out of an abundance of caution, I woul...

Re: Recommended Tire Brands

Are you happy with the OEM tires? If so, I'd go back with them. Keep in mind the OEMs are low rolling resistance (yes, it makes a difference) and are also self sealing (Bolt does not have a spare). Some have reported tire slippage in wet weather with the OEMs, but if you're happy with them, go back ...

Re: climate control issues

I assume it's still under warranty. Take it to the dealer
