It's a very extreme cold weather issue, I really don't see the panic. Wait until the fall if your in the north or east I guess, if you're in the west forget about it IMO. But until it's resolved they can't sell effected inventory so I'm sure they'll sort it out quick enough, anything recently or cur...
This article seems to suggest they are starting a recycling process. So maybe going forward things will change for warranty replacements. https://insideevs.com/nissan-introduces-refabricated-batteries-for-older-leaf-in-japan-from-new-4r-plant/ A lot of people doubted by the way things have gone ove...
Hello, I wish to know if is the litium renovable or recyclable. Because electric cars are reaching to Argentina, and we don't know to much about this theme. We are waiting for the Bolt, it seems that it will be here soon! Thankyou! Hello, I would like to know if is the litium pollutant. Are the dis...
Definitely occurred to me that it's something else about my car that's killing the battery, but, as you say, they don't know what it is. Or IF it is. The real issue for me, then, is that if this is true, I'll always be at risk of having the car stall and being stranded, and as far as I know, there'...
That's pretty much it: I went to the dealer today to have a software update recall seen to, and they tested my battery (my new battery, as the first high-voltage battery failed in January and was replaced) and found that it has a defective cell and must be replaced. Again. So. Bad luck, or is this ...
Canada is more amusing, while mostly metric, there are TWO pints of beer defined by law. The English pint and the French pint. If you are really thirsty, order in French. Order a "pint of beer" and defined by law you should be served "0.568 litres of beer". Order a "pinte d...
I should have been more clear. I'm concerned about the BMS knowing exactly how much charge remains in the battery, not even resisting driving efficiency. No one aside from perhaps the engineers that designed the system seem to know exactly what's going on with the chemistry and the BMS. The kind of...
The dealer I got mine from in BC has 2 L2 charger free to the public and as far as I know they don't discriminate, I saw a fiat plugged in there once. Last I checked they didn't have L3 but they seem eager to jump on the bandwagon. I'm not sure they're accessible after hours.
So I think we're saying the same thing, I just brought it up since the commentor hinted at habitually charging to hill top and if not typically driving long distances then an occasional battery cycle is a good idea even it it's not really" necessary" we don't really know at this point but ...
