Re: 2017 Aftermarket DCFC

I'll bet dollars to donuts that the OP gets no satisfaction from your insistence on posting: 1) claims that "plenty of folks between chevybolt.org and Bolt FB groups who knew they were getting Bolts w/o DC FC inlet, that it couldn't be added and were fine with it"; and 2) discussions of hi...

Re: 2021 Bolt - Loud rubbing noise when hard braking

I am also a one-pedal driver, so I have not had the opportunity to hard brake.

But I would suggest you get it over to a dealer to check it out.

Re: 2017 Aftermarket DCFC

All of that history is a mere footnote to the complaint registered by the OP. When the Bolt EV was released in December 2016, it became the only mass marketed long range EV (other than a Tesla), and hence the history of charging 80 mile range EVs is irrelevant. The ONLY reason that GM made the DCFC ...

Re: 2017 Aftermarket DCFC

I’ve said this before: It’s criminal to offer a Bolt EV for sale without a DCFC charge port, especially without an affirmative declaration that the DCFC charging port is MISSING! If it were me I would sue GM and the prior owner for rescission and/or the damages you must incur to purchase another Bol...

Re: free Sirius XM

Sorry you had such a terrible time with SXM customer service, and my experience with them is they are notoriously terrible! I try to not call in as much as possible. But I do enjoy their satellite radio channels (and now they own Pandora as well, which I have used for many years as well). My history...

Re: Winter performance?

If you signup for the Sirius/XM 3 month free trial, your range in winter go up, too! :D I couldn't resist the joke after reading your experiences with SXM. I LOVE my 2019 Bolt EV after a 3 year lease of my 2017 Bolt EV after my 3 year lease of a 2014 Volt, but weather here in Los Angeles does not pr...

Re: Battery Degradation 2020 Bolt Relative to 2017 Bolt EV

This may be too complicated for me.

How often do you charge?

I plug in every time I return home.

Re: Battery Degradation 2020 Bolt Relative to 2017 Bolt EV

Paul: once again, a great report!

Once we get our new batteries (are we getting new batteries or are only our battery cells being replaced?) what measurements can we make when new so that we can measure degradation over time?
