Re: 2017 Aftermarket DCFC

Even your Niro EV comes with a non-optional DCFC. The Era of abusing new to EV owners with new EVs without a built-in DCFC charger is over! No manufacturer is making that mistake any more; not even GM: https://www.chevrolet.com/electric/blazer-ev?ppc=MICROSOFT_700000001814294_71700000097953783_5870...

Re: Range with post-recall (new) battery pack

I got my battery replacement in less than 24 hours from Rydell Chevy in Northridge CA. Only one full day of Uber driving so far, so too early to report consistently, but: 1) my 2014 Clipper Creek 25A L2 home charger now takes 13 hours to go from 15% to 100%, when previously it would take 11 hours to...

Re: Used 2017 Bolt with 115,000 miles-need advice

My 2-cents: get it ASAP… But the one-pedal driving is just awesome. I second all those comments! There is an Uber driver on the other Chevy Bolt EV forum with 130,000 miles and no problems! I also drive Uber and my 2019 is at 55,000 miles and due for a new battery early next month. One-Pedal Drivin...

Re: Range with post-recall (new) battery pack

Are you actually achieving these mileage numbers or just seeing them on the Guess-O-Meter?

Re: Battery Degradation with high mile usage

Stop DCFC at 80% and top off to 100% at L1 or L2 at home.

Usually I go from about 28% to 80% at DCFC, drive down some then go to 93% with L2 at home.

The lowest I have gone before L2 charging at home is 5%.

I hypermiled on the way home to keep it from going lower.

Those poor orphaned souls. Harmed needlessly by GM's original marketing of the Bolt EV as "less than $30,000"

Re: Battery Degradation with high mile usage

Many horror stories are told by the first-adopters of the Nissan Leaf and its battery degradation. GM learned much from its release of the Spark EV, the Chevy Volt and now the Chevy Bolt EV/EUV. My opinion, FWIW, is that your plan to use two L2 chargers, is the best way to do it for battery health. ...

Re: 2017 Aftermarket DCFC

I am sorry you have decided to repeat all of your same claims as before. So, I will repeat my responses: In January, 2017, the Chevy Bolt EV was introduced as the ONLY car (other than a Tesla) with an EV driving range in excess of 200 miles per charge. Before that; most EVs drove in the 80-100 mile ...

Just for giggles, does the 22 Niro EV offer the DCFC as an "option" or do all of them include it as a necessary feature to a modern day EV?
