Regen Paddle on Left Side of Steering Wheel & Brake Lights

Hello!

I assumed that when I use the paddle to brake the Bolt, the rear brake lights would light to warn other drivers. But yesterday I was driving around dusk and there was a vehicle behind me and I could see the reflection of my brake lights go on when I stepped on the brake pedal, but not when I used the paddle. Perhaps I was going too slow or I had pressed the paddle after stopping and then the car moved a bit again.

I certainly hope I am in error and that the paddle usage triggers the rear brake lights. Does anybody know how this works?

It has been stated elsewhere in this forum that the read brake lights go on given sufficient "braking" force, I think the level was .3g, which was given as a federal regulation. So perhaps you weren't slowing down enough to trip that sensor.
