Just came across this comment on a blog post:

I have been driving my Bolt for 5 weeks and I am extremely happy. Already 6,600 kms, my commuting is 85 km each direction, saving about 80% in comparison to gas due to the fact that many level 2 and 3 chargers are still free. But be sure, the thing that makes this little car so good is the driving experience. Cannot describe, just buy one.
Now regarding the writing problem, here a small trick. In Ontario they disappear as they arrive due to the rebate but they are available in Montreal, where the rebate is smaller, and it is legal to bring them to Ontario UNREGISTERED in Quebec (ask for a temporary driving permit) and register and claim the rebate in Ontario.

SO - if you're in Ontario and can't get your hands on a Bolt, maybe you should consider taking a trip to Quebec :)
