The July 2018 EV sales numbers re trickling in:

https://insideevs.com/monthly-plug-in-sales-scorecard/

Tesla sold over 14,000 model 3 sedans in the U.S. in July, apparently. The model 3 sales were higher than the total of every other EV model added together, including all other Tesla models and every other vendor, including PHEVs !! The Bolt is lagging far behind (1175 - less than 10% of the m3). Maybe they are trying to delay the inevitable 200,000th EV sold, which will start the countdown to reduced tax credits. (GM did sell a BUNCH of Bolts in Korea this year, while the Korean tax credit bonanza was still valid.)

From https://insideevs.com/chevy-bolt-sales-south-korea-match-us/

Over 6 weeks between late March and April, the electric hatchback sold a respectable 500 units in Korea. But in May sales skyrocketed to 1,014 units, nearly matching our US sales estimates of 1,125 for last month. Only the Chevy Malibu and Spark outsold the Bolt EV in May. The boost in sales brings the year to date Korean totals to a rather impressive 1,551 units. This is a 522% increase from the same period in 2017.

And from . https://insideevs.com/south-korean-chevy-bolt-ev-sales-crush-u-s-for-june/

In June, South Koreans scooped up a shockingly high 1,621 Bolt EVs. This puts GMs plug-ins at 17% of the brand’s domestic sales for the month. Year-to-date totals have reached 3,122 units. This is a 1,015% increase from the same period in 2017. In less than 4 months, South Koreans have taken home more of the electric hatchbacks than Canada (~1400 estimated through June) and Europe (~1,450 estimated through June) combined. For the first half of the year, Bolt EV sales are up well over 40% globally.
