Has anyone seen any pictures of the rear seat on the Bolt? Is it a 4 seater like the first gen Volt and BMW i3, or is it a 4+tiny (5) seater like the 2016 Volt?

Here are some interior photos from the MotorTrend website - definitely a 4 seater (at least the Bolt EV concept, who knows for sure about production as this doesn't look like a production-ready interior style - maybe in 3 years it will be!?

Apparently the interior is not near production and the rear console broke off when a member of the media was leaning on it taking a picture of the interior!

Here are Bolt EV interior photos from the official 'Bolt EV Concept Car' page on Chevrolet's site
http://www.chevrolet.com/culture/article/bolt-ev-concept-car.html

The interior of the Bolt EV concept car is intended to feel like a sanctuary. The generous headroom and legroom wonderfully combines with a contemporary, light color scheme to give the concept car a warm and roomy feel.

Lighter than air.

The minimal center console appears to float between lightweight, slim-architecture seats mounted on aluminum pedestals.

Information at your fingertips.

A central touch screen gives the driver access to an array of electronic readouts with only a tap or two on the large, 10-inch diagonal screen.

A smarter car.

The Bolt Connect app would provide drivers with an unprecedented level of vehicle control. Incorporating automatic park-and-retrieval technology†, owners will be able to exit the vehicle and tell Bolt EV to park itself while they run errands, then summon it to their location when they’re done.

It can certainly seat 4 comfortably as that seems to be a focus for GM’s new smaller platform (‘new’ Sonic if you will), but GM isn’t size-competing the Bolt with the LEAF at all, so its not dimensionally able to accommodate 5 on a reasonable level. If your priority is roominess, this probably isn’t the EV for you…if you want maximum range for under $40,000, this is quite likely going to be your ticket.

Look at the Buick small cuv interior for the direction that the Bolt will probably follow.

Here's a reviewer in the backseat. He says he is 6'5" tall and he fits in the back seat.... not too shabby!
