Trailer hitch operation

Hello,

hope you can help me.
I would like to pull a trailer with the Ampera-e, which is identical to the Bolt EV.
For this I have bought a trailer hitch:

In order to use this in Germany, I need a letter/certificate/certification from GM that the Bolt EV can pull up to X amount without the engine overheating.
Does anyone have something like this from you?
According to German law, something like this is required, whether the regulation is the same for you is unknown to me.
My German Opel dealer can not provide me with this.

Unfortunately, it looks like GM in the USA is saying "No Trailers" ..

On page 233 of my 2020 Bolt EV manual the following message is provided:



Perhaps you could invest in a roof rack system to meet your needs?
