I'm installing a pure sine wave inverter in the cabin of my 2017 Bolt Premier. I need to run the battery cables under the hood and to the battery. What is the easiest way to route the power cables?

Not a good idea to run the required thickness of wires to hold those amps that long.
I have the EVExtend.com system installed in my Bolt EV but obviously not with the inverter attached during driving.

Best to keep the big DC line short and run the higher voltage 120vac long. Also mind the max wattage and size the DC cable accordingly. Has any one found a way to keep the Bolt on for longer than 90-minute ?

They say turn on, switch to Neutral, put brake on, exit thru passenger door

I have not tried it yet

I would also turn off lights, fan and defrost

Turning off these extra things would be great. They say this, turn on, switch to Neutral, put brake on, exit thru passenger door. Is because these are the must things to do.

They call it “camping mode.”
