I doubt they brought up their documentation fee, title/registration fee either. All of which can vary significantly. Dealers can be pretty shady sometimes.
After the local Chevy dealership acted like a total a** [with absolutely insane lease pricing and no discount and poor bullying attempts] I decided to just bite the bullet and get a Tesla. They were offering large savings on brand new (no longer available) 90D's that were either showroom or...
I shopped around by just leasing a showroom tesla 90d model (with a 16k discount) for 26% more.
Bolts are in short supply here and they're charging based on it. (And they don't like EVs)
Tesla is offering huge discounts on 90d models so I just to heck with it, paying a bit more than that awful price and getting an amazing EV.
Another dealer offered a slightly better deal (560 a month) but this dealer clearly was gouging.
Indiana has no EV incentives of its own.

When I said that seemed way out of wack...
Penske Chevrolet in Indianapolis just quoted me 647/month for a 15k/yr, 39(!?) month lease (fully loaded premier).
I don't even know what to say. They obviously don't want people leasing - or the sales manager has absolutely no clue. The base lease rates quoted through chevrolets site are...
I thought a fair number of people had basically said if it was bad for them, you knew it as soon as you sat in it. I'm betting on that when I test drive mine.
At least in Indiana, Bolts still aren't available. I supposedly got in on an Indianapolis dealers initial allocation of 2 Bolts. My salesperson knew I was very interested and let me pick what I wanted so I'd get my car in their dealer allocation. Supposedly it's build week was July 3rd and I...
My '13 Leaf SL (w/ the around-view option) has a fixed 'camera' button I can hit anytime while driving under 8mph that I use *all the time* when parking. There are some parking garages around here with very tight spaces - with the birdseye view I can pull into places that I normally would be...
