I rarely lock my car. One of the first things I did was make sure auto lock was turned off. I really wish I could turn off the auto lock while driving.

I'm guessing the inverter is too small or you need a pure sine wave inverter to run the EVSE.

DucRider, I was replying to the OP who stated he had 4 panels. The picture you posted shows 9 panels.

Four panels aren't nearly enough to power the EVSE. You would need 1440 watts just to run it never mind conversion loss through the inverter and wiring. I would say 10 panels of at least 200 watts each would be the minimum.

I agree with this 100%. When I was much younger it was 110 and 220. I still use these numbers because that is what I grew up with. Anyone who thinks 10 and 20 volts AC, respectively, will make a difference, shouldn't be working with elctricity.

Is it possible to stop the doors from automatically locking when the car is put into drive or reverse? Thank you in advance.

My LT did not come with one. I plan on ordering one online and installing it myself. Total cost about $150.
