I merely meant by getting "good" at driving it that you learn to anticipate other people's moves and can avoid having to accelerate suddenly, brake quick enough that you can't just use the regen braking, etc. Driving efficiently doesn't mean "driving like Grandpa". We all just bought/leased...
I drive 140 miles roundtrip for work every day in the Bolt. 24 miles of that are local roads, the rest highway at 55-65 mph. I can definitely tell you that even at 70 mph I drastically lose range compared to 65 mph. I know you may not be able to go slower (to stay with the flow of traffic)...
This makes no sense. People who join forums are usually either people who are big fans or people with problems. As people with problems are going to be far more vocal than a regular person, they're going to stick out more.
My left mirror blind zone alert is acting weird. It's the only Bolt...
Agreed. The picture on the chevy website looks completely different than Curt's or etrailers website. I prefer the Chevy version, as it looks like its a little sturdier, but I'd like to see pictures of one that somebody has bought from Chevy before I pull the trigger!
I went to school in West Philadelphia for 6 years, so I'm laughing at the "not in the nicest part of town". Whole place seemed like a quiet little town to me. I walked about a mile every morning to go pick up the car from the charger, the bitter cold was the worst part!
In regards to the...
Definitely agree that they will become busier! I was worried about them being occupied while we were driving, but fortunately didn't run into that issue.
I'm not an RPI alum, girlfriend is. Chargepoint charger at the fieldhouse said "Go Engineers!" after starting. Thought that was funny!
Hi all,
Bought my Gray Premier Bolt with DC Fast charging, driver confidence II, and the infotainment package Thursday night in Maryland. I live in northern Delaware (I think I may be the first in the state?), but the dealership is only ten minutes away and right over the state line.
Less...
Agreed, I was lucky enough to get one of the two alotted to the local dealership and reserved it sight unseen. Haven't actually seen one in the flesh though since the Philly car show. Mine should hopefully be here soon!
I went with the Chargepoint Home 32 Amp Plug-in station with a 25 foot cord. It was $749 on Amazon but fortunately Delaware's Clean Vehicle rebates cover 50% of the cost up to $500! Mounting and set-up was very easy, once it turned on was a couple clicks in the Chargepoint app and it connected...
A. Mileage in a day done frequently (daily to monthly).
Daily work commute is 135-140 miles roundtrip depending on which route I take. Monthly I'm looking at around 2500 miles.
B. Mileage in a day done occasionally.
Occasionally would do errands after work, so maybe 20-30 miles more than the...
Maybe not VA, but around the DC/Baltimore area I called a couple dealerships. Most were waiting on vehicles to come in (a lot of them said they were delayed, one mentioned a bunch of cars being in quality inspection). The only dealership that actually had cars on the lot and not spoken for...
According to the dealer chat with the "DBC", it's in Lake Orion, so at least it's not tantalizingly close to my house like you dan2112...
What frustrates me is that the Chevy website chat said it was "in transit". So I was expecting it was already on its way. Not much I can do. Wish I could...
Hi,
I have a dealership in MD who has lined up a Bolt premier for me. It was supposed to be delivered today, but as of Monday was in "Quality inspection". How long does this generally take? Week, month, or more? It looks like it was invoiced on the 7th of this month. Find it hard to...
