Nope, they won't; but I agree. I ordered one in NL and may (no confirmation received as yet) get one of a mere couple of dozen coming to the Netherlands. I'm sure if they really went for it they could sell thousands (thanks to our 'funny' tax scheme) even in the last half year of 2017.
In Europe (Netherlands) the Bolt future seems unsure. First rumors were April (2017), than May, June. Now I hear fall or maybe next year.
Good that Elon is getting ready and tooled up to produce 10k Tesla Models 3 a week later this year; it will give something to choose.
The Bolt will be Opel...
I have ACC in my PHEV and never use. Why? Although it's fun driving slowly in traffic I never really trusted it enough to relax. It easier en surely more relaxing to 'one paddle drive' than rely on ACC.
On the freeway I simply hate it. The distance it keeps ar such that it leaves too much room...
Tried to order one in The Netherlands (don't really care what it costs: I WANT ONE NOW ... sorry :D ). Anyway, I tried three different dealers and they all claim they cannot (yet) sign any contract. Details (little things like prices and options) are not clear yet but due to arrive soon...
I am reasonably in control over myself and have no such cell phone problems. Alternative could be a self contained TomTom (Garmin?) unit with 'life long' updates for the price of one Here (or similar) update. The big advantage over an 'in car' system is that you can set it before you leave.
