    Is CBEV battery 64 kWh?

How does that follow? You started from an arbitrary point below 50% reported (not necessarily actual as we don't know what Chevy is reporting), but just because there is (surely) an end balancing stage you can't conclude that it must have greater than 60kWh battery. There's no way to test this...

    Is Chevy investigating seat complaints?

It's helping compliance but roadmap wise it's not a compliance car. Which is what you want to get a C class interior in a B class car. Also common misconception because in the developed world we have such good posture is that we need lower back support. Your sacrum/L5 is where the arch in your...

when do brake lights come on with one pedal driving?

Just look in your rear view mirror at night. You'll find that they come in in the last 10% of regen or something. Basically it acts like a regular car, if you're just slowing down like a car does with 'transmission braking' then no light. If you're coming to a complete stop regen it will come on.

    Easteregg on regen-paddle

No the Bolt has iBooster brakes from Bosch (look under the hood and on YouTube for details of the technology). It is brake by wire until the end of the stroke when it switches to hydraulic. On blended brakes specifically the Bolt lead engineer stated they 'didn't want that for this car'. It's...

BOLT SEAT ISSUE - DATA COLLECTION & REPORT HERE

    1. Premier fully loaded 2. 10/2017 3 Dunno off hand 4. Just a Bolt 5. 6'3 ectomorph 6. All my family is tall and thin and we have no issue with it 7. Verdict: We love the seats, very comfortable, actually probably the most comfortable of any we've had

    EV Infrastructure after Natural Disaster

I just went through this (search for Sonoma County Fires). Evacuated from our house twice (three times?) and at various points saw long lines at the gas stations and reports of them running out. Or just not having power. I posted a thread about this on...

Charging on battery storage with solar charging

The Bolt manual states to not charge of anything other than grid (no generators specifically). All inverters have some degree of noise and hash on the output power supply, and various degrees of power factor correction the Bolt may or may not like. One experience, at my workplace they placed...

    Of grid solar charging

Setting the charging rate with JuiceBox is confusing. You can use load groups, but I haven't figured out yet how exactly those allocate the amperage. Basically you can set the wire rating, the charging rate on the EVSE and the load group. Once you set some parameter the others are effected until...

Has anybody tried these 'portable' EVSEs ??

I have the JuiceBox pro and a bag of adapters. I believe it's the most flexible and supported EVSE you can get, the one downside it is on the heavier side. But that's because it's a full metal case and a thick cord, they didn't skimp on quality. For control, just add it to your cell phone or car...

Parking Brake/E-Brake turned on momentarily when ambulance passed

Actually it's probably more likely you didn't put your foot on the brake. Easy to do since we have L mode and the paddle. Make it a habit to use the brake (even though you don't need it) at a stop, basically to tell the car "I'm stopped at a light or something, don't put the emergency brake on...

    Hilltop Reserve

One thing people have to realize is that at any engineering BigCorp, the output product will be the result of a combination of factors at different levels, that don't align as closely as people think. For example, typically there's three main groups involved, high level management, marketing...
