I purchased a 1981 DeLorean right at the start of the pandemic (~April 2020) and dreamed of doing an EV swap. About two years later I had replaced the frame, brakes, suspension, etc and was ready to do the conversion, so I bought a salvage 2019 Chevy Bolt EV from Copart. I ripped it apart, pulled all of the components out, repackaged the battery, and mounted it all in the DeLorean. The car is now running and driving, but the interior isn't there.
