Just heard that GM is, well, not paying much for the Bolt battery replacments. Just $100 million dollars, out of the total $2,000 million dollars (2 billion dollars) cost, so that's 100/2000 = 5% of the cost. LG pays for 95% of the massive cost.
This means GM can proceed with current profits from pickup trucks and SUVs now, and invest all that into new EVs on the way. There is celebrating in Detroit.
