NDEW https://driveelectricweek.org/ is September 10-18th, and there are hundreds of events around the US plus a dozen or so in Canada (plus Hong Kong, Denmark, New Zealand, etc)

Map of events:

If you currently own an EV - register at an event near you and bring your EV. Meet other owners, share your experiences and answer questions from the public on what it's like to drive an EV.

If the Bolt will be your first EV, find an event near you to attend (EV ownership is not required) and you can talk to current EV owners. Many events offer ride'n'drives or test drives, so it's a good place to get a feel for what it's like. It's even possible that some events will have pre-production Bolts on display ;)

These are all run by volunteers, and if so inclined, you can sign up to volunteer when you register. If there are no events near you, it's not too late to start one!

Check it out.

Sounds great. I'm going to try and join. Thanks for sharing with Chevrolet Bolt forum.

Thanks for sharing. I've been part of the local event for three years running. It's always a good time, and you meet a lot of interesting people. Last year we had a very enthusiastic dealer show up with a Smart ED. She was in full sales mode, trying her best to sell the car to anyone who would listen.

Talking to owners is a great opportunity for anyone interested in an EV. I highly recommend going to your local event and mentioning you are considering a Bolt. You will get all sorts of opinions, experiences, and suggestions!
