Cars get scratched. Scratches need to be repaired or the steel will rust. Owners need to know the paint code (I think) to buy the correct color touchup paint. I have searched all over my '23 Bolt EV and I did not find a paint code. I have read a few of the related threads here but I didn't find anything useful. The phrase "paint code" does not exist in the owners manual (according to word search). A quick Google search showed me the names of the colors that were available for my car and I have found an ad online for touchup paint with that paint name but it is expensive and I am not sure that having the name is good enough. I would be more comfortable investing in touchup paint that has a matching paint code. Has anybody with a car like mine found the paint code on their car? In an old thread, a member says the sticker with the paint code on his 2017 Bolt is "is on the left hand side of the trunk wheel well". He included a picture of bottom level of his trunk with stickers. My car does not have any stickers in that area. I would like to post a list of paint code locations for all Bolts in this thread. So far, I have one year. Who will contribute to the list? Here is a picture of the bottom level of my trunk.
