Sticky charger

Wed Oct 10, 2018 5:26 pm

I've been having a difficult time plugging and unplugging my level 2 charger into the Bolt. Is it ok to use WD40 around the side of the plugs to lubricated it or should I use something else?

WD-40 is perfectly fine. In fact, you can spray it right on the contacts, and it will give you a cleaner connection.

I use it regularly on the connectors on my Torqeedo. They have small pins which are exposed to moist air (sitting on a boat).
