Yes, it is possible. But if it can help you troubleshoot - why not ?!
The original manual, in my opinion, is not worth the money!

It's not that unlike other forms of piracy. You're depriving whoever developed the manual from revenues, recovering their costs or possibly making it to breakeven/making a profit. And, you're putting $ in the hands of criminals.
