    Mud/cargo-floor mats in rubber?

Yup, I've got them, they're good (OEM mats from GM). Only thing is I wish they covered the front angled part of the front floor boards, behind the pedals on the left and beneath the glove box on the right. However the cloth mats don't cover there either, nor do some direct fit aftermarket ones...

    Bumpy Ride - Stiff Suspension

Regarding the taller tire, it was assumed that one would drop the wheel diameter in order to allow the greater sidewall without affecting the overall tire diameter. Eg. go to a 15" (might have brake clearance issues) or likely a 16" wheel.

    Bumpy Ride - Stiff Suspension

Higher profile tires? That would soften things up and reduce unsprung weight. If you do a little googling through the forums I think you'll find the Bolt pattern matches the cruze and volt IIRC. Grab some smaller diameter rims and mount some comfy tires, should improve ride comfort. I'm quite...

    Reflection on side mirrors

Ok, now I see what you mean. I never noticed until I looked for it but you're right, you do see a noticeable reflection of the dash in both sides when looking in the mirrors. In my observation it's actually reflecting off the Windows, but I see what you're saying. Doesn't bother me though.

    Reflection on side mirrors

Interesting, I never noticed that. Perhaps it's because I've got the darker interior color palette? Actually i can say that i HAVE noticed that the side mirrors on the Bolt are some of the better ones I've used being of decent size.

Is HVAC burning you up too? Chevy says "nothing wrong"

My two new digital thermometers (with remote probes) just arrived and the logging thermometer should be here in a week or two. I'll be adding some data to your findings here soon.

    First Totaled Bolt for sale

So it's begun...... Yummy 150kw transaxles and speed controller, charging systems etc, all factory tuned to be smooth and reliable and good.... Begging to be shoved in the back of an MR2 or an RX8 or something like that. A fantasy project that I'll never have time or money for is slowly becoming...

Canada - When can we expect Bolts?

ELIXBrice, if the one you sat in at Carter Burnaby was a Blue LT it was probably mine hahah. I took delivery at the end of February but before I did it was sitting at the dealership for about 5 days.

Is HVAC burning you up too? Chevy says "nothing wrong"

rybolt, nice work in logging the temperature rise and fall over time, that's some pretty solid data there. You've inspired me to get a little more serious with my observations. I think that in a case of something subjective like "my heater makes me too hot or too cold" we're going to have to...

    HVAC heating temperature window

Well I feel a little better knowing that others have also found the HVAC temperature control kinda suspect. I had an extra two probe digital thermometer (from my aquarium actually) that I was using to compare cabin temp to vent temp but it flaked out shortly after I started using it in the car...

    HVAC heating temperature window

Hello, this is my first vehicle with automatic climate control so I have nothing to compare this behavior to, and I'm wondering if it's by design (for energy conservation) in this case. It seems that if the outside temp is within about 10 deg of the set interior temp and with the climate...

Do you think I'll be able to tow a small boat with the Bolt?

I'm not an engineer or a lawyer, but I am a mech. tech. and I do have quite a bit of experience towing with a small FWD car. I've got a MK1 Ford focus (suspension and brakes upgraded to SVT versions) that I've used to haul my 4x8' utility trailer for a few years now. Car is rated to tow a max of...
