By whose standard? The trunk space in my CMax Energi is 19 cubic feet and people constantly complain about how tiny it is due to the battery placement...

But that was my point; it is his standard. It is not "huge" by most others' standards. For a car in 2016, 16.7 cubic feet is a tiny trunk. The typical car buyer will look at it and scoff. Yes, it may be more than Diggle needs. But it's hardly "huge".
