How come on a cool 45 degree day I can regen at the full 70 kw but I can only DCFC at 32 kw?

You can't regen at 70kW for more than a few dozen seconds, so the amount of heat that gets dumped into the battery is limited.

While true, that is not the “problem”.
We want to dump heat into the battery when it is below 60’F.
