Heh, was thinking of doing something similar with the calipers. Did you use a lift or did you find a good jack mount under the car? Since the battery is there I have been hesitant to try any spots and there is nothing listed in the manual.

Re: Small Mods

I used a pinchweld pad adapter for a floorjack with a hole drilled in it to to fit over the bolt head, to lift the front area where the battery tray is attached to the frame.

For the rear, I used a 2X2 about 2.5 ft long and positioned it snugged up to the pinchweld. Had another jack with each lifting to prevent any disasters.

For the back, I made a pinchweld adapter with a "u" shaped bracket that fit over the pinchweld so it would not damage the plastic next to it.

If you remove the wheels, don't forget to torque the lugs to 100 ft lbs

Also ordered wheel locks, 20 pieces with 2 "keys" fromebay for $15 free shipping. Dealer wanted $60!!!
The dealer set was 4 individual "locks" - rip off

Love the Mercedes logo! We recently switched our son to a different select soccer club and I swear you need to drive at least a Mercedes to get in the parking lot  Our '01 Civic and '04 CR-V don't cut it but our new Bolt with logo switch would be perfect!!

I feel that same way pulling into my daughter's Gymnastics studio. As I park my banged up Leaf near a 2017 Maserati. (but not too near it, as my daughter likes to fling her door open without looking  )
