Seattle Area Dealership has Some Bolts.

Is Burien discounting or selling at MSRP ?

    Capacity fade in EVs

Not really. I'm sure manufacturers will decrease the price to make up. Then, there is the possibility that the tax credits will continue (by making it a combined pool instead of one pool per OEM).

    Buy vs. Lease

We all have to make some assumption - my guess at this point is that it is likely I'll swap into Model 3. Only some catastrophic event like Trump nuking the world would prevent that. In other words the chances of me swapping out any car I get into in the next 2 months is much greater than me...

    Buy vs. Lease

If I get a Bolt - it would be as a stop gap until I get Model 3 (Q2 to Q4 of 2018). My choices are - Buy Bolt now for $40k ($32.5 after credits). Sell it when I get Model 3. - Lease Bolt now for $500 a month (0 down). Transfer lease - I may have to sweeten the deal by offering cash. What do...

    Buy vs. Lease

The argument for $2.5k instead of $7.5k tax credit included in lease has been that residual has been increased by $5k "artificially". If that turns out to be the case - expect to get less than $19k when you sell a 3 yr old Bolt. Realistically it would be lesser given Leaf 2, Model 3 etc will be...

    Feb sales (952)

That dealer doesn't have Bolts on the lot either - expected this week.

    No tax credit in 2017

The best EV state incentives were in a red state. Its not all a partisan fight. Afterall the 7.5k tax credit was signed by Bush.

    No tax credit in 2017

If you don't know the difference between Sergie and Ghosn, I'm wasting my time responding to you.

    No tax credit in 2017

Actually I expect Nissan, GM & Tesla to fight to change the rules as expiration nears. They'll say it is unfair that early movers like themselves are not going to get tax credits while late comers like Toyota & fiat will continue to get. I expect per OEM numbers to be changed to overall numbers...

You don't spend Billions if you are not enthusiastic. As the CEO, you don't stake your reputation on it if you aren't enthusiastic.

Chevy Bolt EV Review, From One Of The First Buyers To Get One

Thanks for the details. I'm sure a lot of Leaf owners are thinking about Bolt. Can you give more details on the cargo space / trunk ? I'm particularly interested in the depth of the trunk (not height) - can I put the umbrella stroller and still have enough space for groceries etc ?

    No tax credit in 2017

Sigh. I only have my 6 years of experience to go by (see Leaf forum).

    No tax credit in 2017

You are assuming Nissan is way way less into EVs than they are.

Rydell Chevrolet offering $1000 off MSRP until January 9th

Stroller, water bottles and grocery bags. At the risk of derailing this thread, basically the depth helps me compare Bolt's trunk to Leaf's.

Rydell Chevrolet offering $1000 off MSRP until January 9th

Now they say, they can sell but not lease. BTW, now that you have the car, can you measure the depth (from seat to the liftgate) of the trunk for me ? If its too small that would be a deal breaker for me.
