Another feather in Chevy' Bolt's hat.

Green Car Journal has named the Chevrolet Bolt as its 2017 Green Car of the Year, citing its 238-mile range, driving dynamics and connected technologies.
The wedge-shaped Bolt is the first production battery electric-vehicle to achieve a 200-plus mile driving range.
The award, which was handed out at the recent LA Auto Show, honors the industry's most influential green vehicle. The Bolt is especially significant because its useful driving range and sub-$40,000 base price give it the potential to become a true mainstream electric vehicle.

It will be interesting to see if there is a larger following in North America than other parts like the UK or other European countries

Reviewers for the Bolt said they easily surpassed the EPA 238-mile rating for the Bolt. Possibly they were driving super efficiently.
Clearly some people will continue to have range anxiety with a 150-190-mile limit and may not jump aboard until a battery can supply 320 miles but the ability to surpass the 238 mile range does give it a competitive edge and we can see how it would make the cut for top selections
