If you had a Chargepoint Home you could join this program that allowed you to use your station as a submeter with a different rate. Sadly the program is ending and we won't know if they'll return it for good until 2020.

Currently, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has only authorized two pilots. Later this year SCE will be submitting our final report on the two pilots and expect a decision from the CPUC in early 2019 if SCE will be directed to offer submetering to all our customers. If the decision is yes, SCE will develop and submit a submetering plan that must be approved by the CPUC before we can begin to execute the plan.
Based on the above process, we estimate that, if approved, submetering could be made available to all our customer in the early 2020s.
