ClipperCreek HCS-40 for me. No bells or whistles made in the USA with great customer service from a reputable company.
I don't need a charger with wireless access or trying to phone home. I have used it previously with my Leaf and now with my Bolt - love it - it just works.
I have this on my dashboard as well. Cars that where reported to have a voltage cell had the battery replaced. Is this no longer the case? Or is this a software update just to detect it and not let the car die on the side of the road? Not clear from the description but it implies it will...
The dealer came back and said the bolts where torqued correctly, but the issue was in fact the rack and pinion. Wasn't expecting that, but a new rack will be in on Monday and should be repaired the same day. Will keep you updated.
Update: My dealer called me today and let me know the work...
There is some info in the "other" Bolt forum here: http://www.chevybolt.org/forum/178-2017-chevy-bolt-ev-issues-problems/10658-rattle-loose-feeling-steering.html
Mine is going in for the same issue on Friday. I plan to print out some of the service reports referenced over there and attach...
For those of us using CarPlay is there any other significant reason to update? Is there a list of what has been fixed with this version over 14.1.0?

No offense, but the sign is pretty useless unless you know the charger type. FastCharge to a Leaf is different for a Bolt, which is different for a Tesla.
Yes - that was exactly my point. The difference between lifting off the accelerator and mashing the brake in L mode is what I think helped make the car stop just that little bit quicker and in an emergency stop situation every millisecond counts.
Isn't that what "L" mode is - I think you would get even "more cowbell" by hitting the paddles in L mode, but I have not tried it. I always drive in L and find it pretty aggressive with a "full-lift" off the accelerator.
And yeah I gave him the the "WTF" look and went to work and changed my...
Anybody familiar with Bay Area driving will know there are some crazy drivers out there and this morning I encountered one. Here is the story.
I am driving in the left lane on an expressway with stop and go morning traffic coming up to a major intersection with very long left hand turn lanes...
You can always set the "hill top mode" that only charges to I think 80% and keep it plugged in. But as long as the 12v system is happy - the car should be ok - just don't keep the battery at extremes (100% or 10%) for a long period. Not sure if the car automatically "tops" off the 12v battery...
I suspect they don't know themselves yet either and would rather replace the entire unit so they can get the car functional again and then take the unit back to figure out what went wrong. Kudos to GM for doing the right thing and replacing the unit.
Expanding body panels? Are you coming out into the sun from a shaded area?
I noticed a slight ticking sound, but it sounded like the roof ticking like it was heating up in the direct sunlight and it went away after a few minutes of driving.
