How do I lower the chime volume

I just got my Bolt on Thursday. Pretty darn excited. It's a Premier with all the possible upgrades.
Question, how can I reduce the sound of the chime when I open the drivers door? There is a setting under Comfort and Convenience but it doesn't allow me to go below 20 or so. Is there a way make it quieter?!

Good question!

In pg 143 of the manual it just indicates that you can adjust the chime volume, but makes no indication as to how high or low you can make it go...

Maybe it's like kid toys - you have to find the speaker and put tape over it

If the car is turned ON in Park, you should see a selectable 'vehicle' options in the Home-settings list. Once you select this, an 'Easter-egg' of sorts loads which gives you a ton of extra options like the chime volume.
