My compass that is on the top of the Driver Instrument Cluster (DIC) isn't giving me correct readings. My phone and a mini dash compass are more reliable.

Has anyone noticed, or have this happen to your Bolt EV?

Thanks for any responses... Aloha

I believe there is a calibration they can do at the dealer. If the unit is faulty, they can also replace/repair it at the dealer.

And to directly answer you, I have not seen any issues with the compass on the dash readout. I know it does happen though due to owning other Chevys.

You don't have to take it to the dealer to recalibrate the compass. Electronic compasses will recalibrate themselves in normal use, however, if you don't take a lot of turns in the car, you can recalibrate it yourself. Find a large area, such as an empty parking lot. Drive in a figure-8 pattern. Around 3-5 repetitions should recalibrate the compass. Use as tight a turn as possible and maintain a steady speed.
