I use the Thule "Raceway Pro 2" rack. It fits the Bolt well and is nice and secure. Beware, however, that it (like other racks I assume) will drop your highway mileage substantially. If you can throw the bike inside, it's much more energy efficient.

I use Thule Vertex 2 and it works fine for me without any obvious reduction in mi/kWh.

My comments on it are on this thread elsewhere.

My wife's road bike fits inside our new Bolt with the rear seats down and without removing the front wheel. I promised her that it would based on using a measuring tape prior to buying the car  . What a relief! :D

I bought a Highland SportWing. The design has changed, and it's no longer possible to get the riser shank. It's too bad, as the bike rides low -- the tires on my road bike (700) were 5" off level ground (with the hitch being 9 1/2" off the ground). Hence, it can no longer be recommended for a Bolt.
Updating this comment. The latest (third?) version of the SportWing now works just fine. They simplified the base of the "wing," which increases the height of the wheel hooks off the ground. The same bike (700C wheels) now has 9" of ground clearance. Even though I also have a Thule Helium rack, the SportWing is my go to rack. It's light and easy to put the bike on and off.

I used Google Shopping to find a vendor, and I bought it from WalMart for $55 including shipping.

BTW, these threaded hitch inserts fit my Sportwing and my Saris hitch racks:

This is the anti-sway mechanism I use on almost all my hitch racks. Once cinched up, the rack doesn't sway or bounce around. I even use my Saris Hitch Tite lock with them. Just in case anyone needs an anti-sway lock on different brands of hitch racks.

I realize this is an old post, but which settings did you use to install? I’ve been gifted this rack and cant find anything about Bolt compatibility
