Although the cruise control on my 2017 Bolt EV works about 95% of the time, it will occasionally fail. Failure can consist of the CC turning on for a second and then spontaneously tuning off, or alternatively the CC wont turn on at all. This occurs most frequently when heading into a brightly lit sky such as going east in the early morning or west in the late afternoon. I'v e had it happen once at night on a brightly lit freeway with heavy traffic (i.e. multiple headlights) coming at me.
I've checked with Chevy dealers in two states, but they have no record of prior complaints, and after the last incident, they could find no error codes.
Has anyone else experienced this and are there any known fixes?
